The Bamboo Society began with a simple belief: that gathering around a mahjong table can create something much larger than a game. It can create friendships, belonging, laughter, confidence, and a sense of community.

Before there was a finished space or a first hand dealt, there were people who believed in that idea alongside me. You joined sight unseen. You encouraged me. You shared your excitement. You trusted that this would become a warm, welcoming place for people of every skill level to learn, play, and connect.

I will never forget that you believed in The Bamboo Society before it was fully here.
